I had purchased these as upgrades for my 93 xj which is no longer with us

used pair of rancho 3 inch coils $30 (actually net 2.5 inches) these have a higher spring rate and work really well for a jeep that is loaded down with gear for camping or carrying 2 lard butts like my wife and I :moon:they have about a year of use and about a year and a half of sitting in my yard

used pair of upcountry leaf springs $30 (1 inch taller than stock) they were used for about 2 years can't remember if they sagged at all but they worked really well with the rancho coils when I had the mj shackels

new not in the box tefba coolant filter $30 I never installed it on my truck that I sold and don't wana open up the wifes xj's cooling system again since its working really well.

ps: the booster and alt came from napa thats why I linked to them showing the prices I paid

also a side note, that alternator is a brand new one, not rebuilt, and as such has a full lifetime warranty on it.

yup it works very well, no real mods to install it just remove your abs crap and put the booster in and re run some lines and a proportioning valve to the master

perfect, sounds great. will i need a new master aswell? also may be interested in the coils. have a set of 31" MTs sitting in the shop, but no lift yet.

He'd still need a Master Cylinder. The bendix POS ABS had a hydro pump and no vacuum booster. I did my 91 with a 95/96 dual diagaphram, MC and prop valve.
The ABS MC is it's own beast, and should've never made it onto a production vehicle. :)

yep, i do plan to get the new master and fluid res. just have to save up a few more bucks. it was either get the master, or pay for membership. the jeep will have to wait. just need to find out what master to get with this booster.

The late model XJ boosters dont really work well on RENIX xj's, unless you take them to a brake shop and have the pedal rods changed. You have to modify the pedal of the WJ booster to work with the renix brake light switch, and the late model xj ones .. well, it just doesnt work right.

It would be bolt in (ish) for someone 91-94.

If you *can* modify it to work. I glanced at one once but dont remember how its setup anymore.
