here is my XJ with 6.5"s of lift and 35" maxxis bighorns.

the lift kit is a TnT Customs hybrid kit.

I still have to regear the axles (D30 and 8.8") to 4.88s, but the tires are on.

And yes i will trim it out when i get a chance.

God help me I just love tires. Love getting them and looking at them. It was L60's on my 72 Nova, then 36.5's on my Chevy 4x4, now 32's on my XJ. Makes a vehicle look so different. Love the smell of the new tires too!

that was 6" of lift and 31s?

cant really tell but do u have the u-bolt eliminators? (cant think of there name)

Love the bighorns..

Is this your first set of Bighorns? How many miles do you plan on getting out of them?(or how many miles did you get out of the last set?)

Chris

This is my first set. I have heard nothing but good things about them. Im not sure about the inflation, i just assumed the tire shop inflated them properly. I will check them tomorrow to see.

sorry to hi-jack but do you have any pics of your hinges I'm looking to go doorless soon but there is nothing good for the 97+ crowd

Just to chime in on Bighorn longevity: I've had mine for probably... oh, I dunno... 12K or more and they are only about half worn. Not too shabby for an inexpensive, great riding and great gripping tire. I swear these tires ride better than my old-ass ProComp ATs.
