I finally got ahold of the pizza parlor. The only night they had available was the 13th of Dec. I went ahead and reserved us from 6-10 pm.

I asked about any special packages for groups and Steve(the owner) said that really the buffet is the way to go with large groups. He said roughly $10 a head and he would throw in free soft drinks. Any beer would be cash only. I figure that if we had 50 people show, which I think is optimistic and based off of the BBQ #s, it would run us $500. He might be able to work something better once we get our numbers figured.

What do you guys think?

We could ask for a suggested donation of $10 a person for members and $15 a person for non-members? Or something similar?

BTW...when will you post a thread? The sooner you do the more people you will get. It's been my experience that people usually go to the first thing the commit to. There are always tons of parties to commit to that time of year.

I say lets book it and just a thought, User names in Red should be paid for by the Chapter, usernames in Green half price and black names pay for themselves. I would like to steer away from lurkers just hanging out for free.

uuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm I am picking up the awards tomorrow and then will look at our account and let you know. It depends on how much we are spending on dinner. Also when do we send the money out of our account for donations?

I think some Christmas presents from the dollar store should be ok.

After paying for the last jackets to get done and the awards we have $1341.11 in the account. $500.00 will be sent out with the donation and then the rest is to pay for Christmas Dinner and have some opperating money for next year.
