Buddy is looking for a used and running 4.0 motor complete to fit his 96 xj buggy.

He through a connecting rod through the block this weekend. :/

What do you have?

i've got a 98 XJ motor with around 150k on it. was involved in a roll over though so it was ran upside down momentarily. it also had a slight knock at idle. other than that it ran great. $100

Got a 97 tj 4.0 w 106k ran awesome. Long block w int, dist, timing cover misc other items. 550 $

Also avail a 3sp auto from same tj and 231 for 400 $ more. All in perfect running and usable cond when rwmoved to install a aw4 and 01 xj motor that came w it.

check craigs. A guy in Ontario / Chino is parting out a 97 XJ. He has a motor for super cheap. Has 220K on it i believe and he said it runs great.
