Underside, this is just after, I taped it in place and filled all the holes with silicone

Hoods from all years XJ fit FYI.

I don't have time to go through the stuff in the garage, too much crap because of my gf's bro and his broad being in the house meow. I'll find them someday. Ha.

Re: Re: WTB: hood vents

5 days of posts and you could of got some in the JY already...

We both love in the same small area. No pull your part crap. Just a few junkyards that overcharge for stuff.

I've got a set of LeBaron hood vents I'll let go for $50. No hardware with them, but easy to attach. They are located in the Pasadena area, so you'd have to figure out a parts train. I was going to install them on my rig, but decided to go with larger vents.

Just a bit of advice...
Don't put the vents in the rear-center section of the hood. I have large ones that were on my XJ when I bought it and they work GREAT. You can see the heat just pouring out at slow speed and idle.
The only problem is when you want to use your vent. It seems the intake is in the cowling in front of the windshield, so you end up with a heater. When I redo my vents, I'll move them forward and to the sides.
