I found a local class on www.arrl.org, you type in your zip and it finds you a class in your area. Also has a ton of info on mah lic and wha ham really is and what you can do with it. Pretty cool stuff.
I will surely roll with a standard CB for now, but I want to get into more point to point wheeling, on multiple day trips, where you are really in the middle of no where. Having the ability to have a radio to be able to contact someone that can send help your way in the case of an accident or total breakdown would be muy important.
