WTB Axle

My buddy just had his pinion bearing go out in his dana 35 and locked it up
Its 92 4x4 manual XJ
Im pretty sure that the gearing is 3:07 in his jeep, so preferably an axle with the same gearing, but if not its ok well just take out the front drive shaft until we have the time to match the gearing.

Looking for a complete axle
preferably a chrysler 8.25 or dana 44

Good luck with that gearing. I got another dana35 with the right gearing ill be selling if he wants a replacement. Otherwise he should change the front gearing to something better.

Yeah I know, 3:07 is pretty rare to find. How much for the dana 35?

I have a 29 spline 8.25 with manual trans 3.07 gears in it that needs new bearings put in it for $100. I have a guy that will rebuild it as well if you don't know someone who rebuilds axles, he's in yorba linda and I can put you in contact with him if you decide to go with my axle.

How much for the axle and what bearings need to be replaced?

100 bucks takes it home. I am 90% sure it needs the carrier bearings replaced, but I haven't popped the bearing caps off to check yet. check out www.rwkhaussupply.com to see what a master install kit would run for a 29 spline 8.25, and decide if it's worth it to you. he also could do the installation for you depending on where you are, he's in yorba linda. His name is Rob tell him I told you to get ahold of him.

Ill talk to my buddy and see what I wants to do, I know for sure he wants to get one by the weekend. Does the axle include the brakes, slave cylinder, etc.

It's dissasembled right now, but I should have all the parts. I would get new wheel cylinders and shoes though if I were you.

i was gunna CL mine for 150 but it wouldnt work if you need it by the weekend, i wont be able to sell it for a couple weeks since it's still in the jeep.
