WTB 95 Auto ECU

According to the shop I just towed my XJ to, I'm in need of a new ECU. Apparently the current one is saying that it's 104 degrees out and the engine is overheating even though it hasn't been ran in months.

Anyways Its a 95 Sport Automatic 4wd 4.0 I6

Anyone have one laying around they would be willing to part with?

Sure it's not a sensor mapping inaccurate air temp.
That just sounds strange to me.

Yeah check out other culprits before you drop the cash on a new ECU. However, if it is the ECU, call down here to AMC 4x4 in Glendale as they have a TON of used parts where you could probably find an ECU

There is a ecu on cl for $50

Ended up finding one and swapping it in. Still didn't start but supposedly the scanner was reading closer to ambient temp. I was skeptical to begin with, but I had run out of ideas. Mechanic said the one I brought to him wasn't the right computer, but the JY I got it from said it came from a 94 4.0 4x4 so it should have been interchangeable. Thanks for the help
