Why no thread edits/deletes?

I thought I used to be able to edit/delete posts here, maybe not? I have so many sale ads and wtb ads up that no longer need to be and I would love to delete them but cannot. I figure if we were able to do so, we could keep the forums a little cleaner?

Am I missing the downfall to this?

Posts may only be deleted or editted for 30 minutes after posting.That has always been the forum policy. After that, the function disappears.

In addition, you can PM a Moderator with changes to a thread.
