hi i just joined about a week ago and i still cant post threads or post replies to threads on any other forum other than this one. i have read around and i have heard others say that we are supposed to receive a conformation e-mail when we join and i have yet to receive one and yes i checked to make sure i put in the right e-mail address. if anyone knows how to fix this i would really appreciate the help.

Yup, you need to get a confirmatino email. Make sure that you don't have any spam filters that might have cought it (since it's an automated email some spam filters decide to axe it before it reaches your inbox)

using yahoo mail my confirmation emails go into my bulk messages and i just have to dig them out from all the other rubble

i have AOL and its got the spam filter and i will usually go in and just delete it all cuz its never anything important so there could be a chance that i just deleted it without knowing it. how do i get to re-send the conformation e-mail?

You should turn the filter OFF for the purposes of this exercise

I think the email will be coming from [email protected]

Not seeing any bounce messages or errors on this end. As far as I can tell, the mail is being delivered to your service provider. What AOL and that other guys ISP does with it is beyond me. Maybe get a free gmail or yahoo addy that does not filter your email so strictly?
