Who's running their trac bar in the stock location?

How many of you guys (Racers and prerunners) are running your trac bar in the stock location? If not the stock location where are you running it? Are you mounting it over the axle?

I had an interested conversation about roll center with a friend the other day that has me thinking. However changing my trac bar mount would require me cutting into my freshly powder coated curt leduc housing, something I'd rather not do, PC or not.


(EDIT: This is talking axle side btw, not frame side)

ive run mine both above and below my stock location.....i dont think it really matters where you run it so long as its all good in relation to steering (granted you run "normal" steering) otherwise....bump steer and bump steer on a harsh landing could spell....your junk in the salvage yard

I'd worry about roll center on a road racer, not on a Jeep.

As for location, stock location with an off-the-shelf Rubicon Express bar.

mine is in the stock location with a RE style bar, 5/8ths bolt thru a heim holding it on the frame side. seems to work fine for me but i definately need to reenforce the frame side bracket.

Stock location and I need to reinforce the axle side tabs because they start to bend after a while.
