The Springs gang is camping at Grizzly Lake this weekend...looks like a weekend of scattered T-storms to!

joey what are you wheeling these days? (sold the XJ right?)
el presidente said he was just taking the titan out, so i wasn't sure if you guys were wheeling
or just camping? :dunno:

i'd like to try iron chest on saturday if you & jeff are up for it.

It's just Led, Dan, Mark (non-NAXJA folks) and I (plus families) are meeting Jeff and his wife (somewhere along the way). Leaving late Friday afternoon...you interested?

Iron Chest doesn't sound bad...a quick run on the way home.

I had already planned a trip up there this weekend, just not sure when I'll be able to leave though. I'll probably be headed there on Friday as well, just not sure of the time.

Cimarron River trail!

Who's in with me?

Come on it's only 6 to 7 hours away from most of you! :D

Sorry to all who were planning on coming out for the river trail run. I'm going to have to cancel. Daughter is playing in a concert, and since I'm paying for it, I guess I'd better go.

I know so many are broken hearted.... But I'm sure you'll find other places to play this weekend.

I'm heading out to my driveway to start the big body swap on the XJ. It's time to prep and paint the new body before starting everything. Hope to have it painted by Monday or Tuesday.

Is Redcone open????? I heard it was still snowed in and Webster wasn't even open. Redcone is one of my favorite easy runs. Nothing hard, just a bit of pucker factor to scare the hell out of the flat landers. Like to head over to Radical Hill and drop down in to Breckenridge.

grizzly / iron chest

led/joey,

if you check here before you leave tomorrow, let me know about what time you think you'll
be setting up camp (also an idea of how long it takes to drive to grizzly)... i got some general
directions from jeff (camping at the lake, right?)

i think i'm ready to go (got the new rock rails on), but now my wife may have the flu, so i'll have
to see how she's feeling tomorrow morning. :(

These are the phone numbers to check on Redcone with the forrest service. They control the gate. Last year, they actually came out and opened the gate for me so I could break trail. They are really nice. I make sure and thank them for the hard work.
