Which shocks ~ 7"-8" lift

If you think it is too short, get the numbers off of the shocks and do a manufacturer's lookup to find the extended and compressed length. While you are at it, measure it from eye to eye while it is just sitting there.

From there you can look up on any manufacturer's tables and get a shock a bit longer.

If you take the big ole coil spacers and blocks off the Jeep the shocks will be the perfect length.

:roflmao: it all makes sense now...

It takes longer to make a post then it does to whip out a tape and measure 2 shocks, extended lengths aren't as important as compressed is, flex your rig on a curb until your tire stuffs into the fender as far as it can go, measure the 2 points, now measure the compressed rear... Tada ur done! Measuring extended lengths just ensures your shocks don't double as limit straps

Cool how you joined just to ask your question. Then give everyone crap for telling you the right way find out for yourself. If you dont want to hear the right answer take your bs to google.

Cracks me up how hard some of these guys want to be one of the cool pirate 4x4 guys.

So much for friendly wheeling community getting each others back. Now its all about mine is bigger and I am better.

So you were being literal I take it?

Idk about you but I can read a tape measure no matter who makes it... A tape I a tape weather it's a Stanley, kobalt, husky, rigid, craftsman or a Pittsburgh, it still comes in inches..

Unless its an engineer's rule and measures in a hundreth of a foot or a metric rule or a brick rule which gives you course height for different sizes of bricks.

This thread is entertaining.
