i have the same problem with my RE track bar. I keeps finding a lot of play no matter how tight i bolt it on. I put a locknut and red locktite on it and it still comes loose every now and then.
Went with Rusty's adj. Upgraded to the HD mount that was a pain in the axx to mount. The holes didn't quite line up......gotta love XJ's. Steering is mucho improved....

Ditto. Just tightened mine down the other day and red loc-tited em. I can already tell I'll have to weld it sometime soon. 4th time its happened in under a year.
I have Rusty's adjustable with the standard mount. It's beefy enough for me, and the standard joint has outlasted a set of BFG tires.
only problem I have is the bar hits the pumpkin when I stuff the left tire - although others have told me theirs don't do that, so Rusty's may have changed the design after I bought mine. I'm sure someone here knows. BTW, does anyone know if the HD mount fixes this prob?
I have a Teraflex adjustable that has been on there 2-3 years. The TRE is extremely trashed now and I'm debating what to replace it with. I previously tried RE1600, but the heim was slightly sloppy after a while, not too major. I then tried the RE HD bar & bracket, but the bar would hit the diff cover when stuffing the left tire (only 3.5" lift). Thinking of just chopping off the TRE on the Tera-flex bar and welding in a super-flex joint and using that with the RE HD bracket.
I Had a superlift one on there till i turned it into a c then a s on my first trip so i am getting the most kick ass machine shop in the world to build me one that is guaranted not to break with there custom heim joints on each end
