WHERE...did I see headlights that BLACK-OUT when off...???

Several years ago, in a catalog such as Northern Tool, I definitely remember an offering of headlight lamps (both round and rectangular) that were BLACK when off, but normal yellow/white when powered... Can anyone driect me to a source of such lamps, or provide any info.

Yes, likely the same technology but, the ones I saw were, I'm quite sure, for headlight use, and were only about $50-$60., IIRC.
