Wheeling in northern Me.

Ok gang, Looks like Aug. 24-27 is the date for this adventure. Since its not an offical event, any rig is welcome, but they still need to have some kind of attaching points front and rear. This will be a small group, so I would think a lift of 3" and 31" tires should keep the playing field level.

those dates will work for me, and my Jeep will be ready by then

I should be back in Maine at the beginning of June. I am waiting on my discharge papers from the Army. I will need some help setting up the shop and stuff which is still in the works. You could give me a call @719-229-9510 and we could discuss some other issues as well. I appreciate all the support that you give NAXJA and the guys in Maine.
Matt

Hey guys whats going on? I have been out of the Jeep sceen for awhile but since I will be moving from Montana to Maine to open the shop with my bro xjman88 figured I should get back into the mix. Looking forward to meeting up with a bunch of you east coasters. XJMAN88-I am hooked now brother!

The area is called Dennisontown, which is a bit above the town of Jackman.Whom ever doesnt live that close, the name of the Cabin place is Spruce Meadows. E-mail is, spruce meadows.com. For the more old fashioned types the phone is 207-668-4000. His name is Terry.

Its a nice area up there. I come thru that way when I come back from Quebec in Feb., I go up for the winter festival. I always see lots of moose and deer along the road too (nice hunting area).

hey guys I'm kinda new to NAXJA but NOT to jeepin - being a southern cal off roader of 20plus years. Is there any room for an old guy and his young family from Skowhegan Maine? I'm itchin to get out.....

is this still happening?
I hope so. I haven't heard much about this trip since I got back to Maine in June. I've had work to do on my junk anyway and still not done. As far as equipment required, front and rear tow points, CB or FRS radios, tow strap, fire extinguisher, first aid kit and decent tires. I am not trying to be the trail boss or anything, I just have alot of experience putting trips together from living in Colorado and Texas (5 years)and know what to expect. I carry complete front and rear axle shafts, driveshafts, U-joints and a crap load of other parts as well. I also have a winch for recovery missions as well as other recovery equipment. Other than that, just bring yourself and have a great time. If we can't do this run, let's at least all get together somewhere and do like an informal meet and greet. Just let me know.
Later everyone,
Matt

Not sure what's going on. Definately up for some wheeling/meet&greet though, haven't really had much of a chance to go at all this summer. The one wheeling friend I had deployed to Iraq.
