lol. Be careful over there... Im guessing you didnt post that thread in the Jeep Non Hardcore section?

Your question could be answered by searching and doing a little research, but to the number one thing would be bigger axles (HP44/built rear 44 atleast)

Wow what douche bags...

I posted the question in the Jeep Cherokee section theres nothing to say its "Hardcore" talk only..how can anyone learn anything over there?? Plus they are all eastcoast douches anyway they just wheel in mud!! WE GOT ROCKS AND MOUNTAINS and everything else in between!!!:laugh3:

Well I'm running 36's so I guess I can be of help. Here is a list of my mods.

Suspension:
Front:
6.5" Rusty's Coil springs
Rusty's Hydro Shocks w/ 31" max length
TNT Y-Link LongArm kit w/ Belly Skid
SkyJacker extended brakelines
RE HD Trackbar w/ brace

Rear:
1.5" Shackles
4" BOR Flex-E LeafPacks (courtesy of YellaHeep)
1.5" TNT U-Bolt Eliminators

DriveTrain:
Front:
1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer D44 w/ 4.56's & Detroit Tru-Trac
5x5.5 conversion for Waggy D44 w/ Warn Premium Hubs
TNT Waggy D44 Axle Truss
Stock front driveshaft

Middle:
Stock AX-15 5spd manual
TeraLow 4:1 NP231 Conversion
Advanced Adapoters SYE
Tom Woods Custom Length Rear Driveshaft

Rear:
1997 Ford Explorer 8.8 w/ disc brakes and welded tubes (thanks Stang)
4.56's w/ PowerTrax No-Slip Locking Differential
1.5" SpiderTrax wheel spacers w/ 5x4.5 to 5x5.5 adapter

Steering:
Custom Heim-joint steering setup w/ factory pitman arm (go Stang)
Rusty's Steering Box Brace

I'm running 36x13.5 IROK SuperSwampers on 15" rims. I also had to trim my fenders out and I am running Rusty's Flexible Cut-out flares. I have yet to upgrade my axleshafts but am planning on going to Chromoly front shafts and a Superior 8.8 C-clip elim. kit. After that and some additional body armor I'll be looking into a NP231 doubler kit. I'm not running any sway bars either.

Let me know if you have any questions, I'd be glad to help.

Yeah, Pirate has a no-newbie policy over there and they enforce it with brutal honesty combined with un-protected, hateful sarcasm...... I guess you threw yourself into the lion's den and got bit pretty good. :D

You'd be best to hang your hat over here and enjoy. You gotta be a "big dog" to hold your own over there.

You just wanted to rub it in and post up a list of all your mods and this was a perfect excuse, admit it! :D :moon:

ok....whos next?....my junk isnt built enough to play the bigger d**k game..but someone else should "whip it out" and play wth him...lol

haha i read that earlier to day, i was wondering if it was someone here, they were pretty brutal, just be careful what you post and were or they will climb all over you.

FWIW-I've been on Pirate for almost 5 years and a paying member for the last 3 years.I spent almost the entire first year just kind of lurking and seeing "how things work" (I was warned ahead of time) on that board.I've had no problems and post regularly.
I especially like the freedom of speech and the ruthlessness allowed.:D

Just my $ .02 :dunno:

Its not the rudeness I care about its more the memebrs not willing to help you out. All they had to say was research it, or here some suggestions. Thats why I like it here on NAXJA because you guyz are great and are always willing to help out and awnser questions. I will just read the forums from now on and never post a question again. Thats all because I dont want this to happen again....:gee: ha ha.

i don't post on Piirate for that same reason. it's a community of blow-hard douchebags who would sooner try to humiliate than help.

sometimes on NAXJA, depending on the nature of your question, you'll get wise-ass answers like 'search is your friend', which it is. but mostly people in here are really helpful.
