Whatcha need to get done before Winterfest?

Design and build new cage
Install front Zip locker

Load her up and head south....
 
Jeep

Bare minimum:

Replace oil pan.
Replace rear axle seals...again.

Wish list that should happen:

Replace rear axle shafts with all new seals, bearings and retaining plates, keep old stuff for spares.
Rear tire carrier/bumper/hitch combo.
New steering.

Wish list that I hope can happen:

Flat skid plate.
Control arms and track bars.

Tow rig:
replace hitch and add a few reinforcements.
fill propane
give entire rig a good look over.

Trailer:
New tires.
Bearings repack.
See if golf cart will fit on it.

Replace front shocks with 5100's maybe some cheapo monotubes for the rear
Install beadlocks
Dana 44 lube locker
Fix cb
Install bucket seats
Brown dog motor mounts
Replace Trac-bar bushing and bolt
Replace u-joint in spare driveshaft
Touch up rust spots
Flush fluids

Not likely bucket list:
Make and install a traction bar
Box in front end, aka I wanna be like "beergoggles"
Truss front and rear axles
Plexi windshield. Does anyone have one?
 
Install front bumper.
Install and plumb hydro winch.
Rear tow point of some kind.
Install t'case skid.
Install front skid.
Install extended front bumpstops.
Fix rear shocks so I have more than 2" of travel.
Flex it up and trim fenders if necessary.
Book a hotel room :D

Rock rails.
 
Put fuel in what ever I am driving, put beer in cooler, put ice on said beer, close cooler lid, take pre trip deuce, throw extra clothes in bag, get a quickie from the wife, leave town.

Ordered new resistor for blower to make it work on more than just "high"

Rebuild front drive shaft
New drag link and tie rod end
Install front tow hooks
New radiator, it's leaking!
Find some type of rear recovery point and install it. Let me know if you have a hitch you want to sell!

I hope it is better than an XJ, i always pulled them on stuff with around 6" lifts and they came right out. I had to disconnect everything from the axle minus control arms to get the one off the wifes jeep with 3" lift.

The first time I did it, I had the front axle out for that swap and it was still a PITA to get those dumb exhaust bolts on the late model stuff with all the pre cats...

With stock arms, the front doesn't flex down very far to start with on its own.

Jeep:
Change oil(or just keep adding ~3 quarts like I have been doing )
Transfer case linkage adjustment
Swap to discs/new bearings on the dana 44
Install TnT belly pan skidplate

Suburban (ready to go for WF, this stuff needs done before Harlan):
Trans flush/oil change
Ball joints/tie rod ends
New tires n rimz yo
Figure out where the damn ac is leaking from

Trailer:
Two new tires (or keep rotating in crummy spares like I've been doing)
Repack or replace LF bearings
Replace brake magnets
