What do you need to get done before WF24?

Officially in the 2024 year and just over 2months of wrenching opportunity. Whatcha got to get done to make it?


My list is relatively short compared to previous years with the JKU I picked up.
- Flag Mount
- Accessory dash mount
- Wheel speed sensors all the way around
- Crankshaft sensor
- Figure out whats up with the Apex sway bars rubbing shock towers when disconnected

Got a new trans. in.
New transfer case linkage.
Need to finish power steering cooler install.
And redo my flag mount.

Works great on mine. It is just a cheaper knock-off from Amazon.

Stiffen up the frame
New custom headliner
Finish fixing the f-ups that won me the frankenspare last year... better late than never

Now added to the list:
Rear Bumper
Rock Sliders
2 new trailer tires
Replace some wiring
...going to come down to the last minute at this point

Put gas in it.

I was looking at swapping in a '24 grill on my '20 JT...

Then I had to replace the dishwasher...not the wife...

So, probably just put gas in it.

I did do an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment after Moab...

Don't have too big of a list. Just small stuff.

Swap bad axle on camper
New tires, fenders, and lights on car trailer
Bumpers and small stuff on the XJ
Swap over to rock sliders on the JT
Replace steering on F350

Always more to do but that should get me to the event

Dig up my Treah's Friend tshirts, finish fixing the bent control arms, maybe fix the fuse box, charge the laptop for tuning revisions, and air the tires back up and check shock/bumpstop nitrogen levels.....And by far the most important, DONT FORGET THE CABIN FEVER AND COW for Macgyvr and Wheeler

Setup my trail gear
Figure out new flag location
Button up my interior
Probably some misc stuff I’m forgetting.

It will be the first time in two years I’ve wheeled my red xj again while I get my jk axle swap ready

floor pans came in, ill probably just pop rivet the pass side in place and do a "real" fix later.
probably change to oil and break clean the leak.
got to look at the pop up and make sure its good to go.
and figure out if the XJ can tow it down there.
