What would you buy with $30k

The "New XJ" thread got me thinking. If I had no cars/trucks, what would I buy with $30k.

For me, I'd get a decent MJ and build it up with 33s and the typical set-up ... figure that would run about $8k including the truck.

Then, I'd get a nice clean stock XJ to drive around ... about $4k

Then, I'd get a used S2000 for around $15k

I'd spend the remaining 3 grand on whores and drugs.

I'd buy an M35A2, or even better, an M35A3. That'd cost about 3 grand or maybe 4. Remaining: 26-27k

Then I'd buy a rust-less 95 XJ, don't care how many miles so long as it's rust-less. Figure another 3k.
Remaining: 24k

Then I'd buy a beat-up 95 with whatever on it and build the hell out of it and drive it over stuff till it fell apart.. figure 2-300? plus 2k in hardware, remaining 22k.

The rest would probably pay off my student loan with ECSI (hate those pricks, they screw up my autopay and then ding my credit for it) and the rest would go into buying the house I'm going for and fixing it up.

my CTD I just bought for $13.5.

Build a ridiculous XJ on 37s/tons etc for probably about $10k including cost (where my XJ is headed now)

Build another mild XJ for class 6 trails in NH or mild trail riding on 33s/stock axles for the remaining $6.5k.

I'd buy a Cummins and a trailer and save the rest for fuel and upgrades to it and the Jeep.

I'd do the opposite, spend about 27k on mexican whores, cheap tequilla & tacos. Then just keep driving the junk I already have. Oh and the other 3 grand, I would get it all in 1's and go to the nudie bar& be king for a night.

oh - and why the M35? Simple:
* tow rig
* comes *stock* with 41 inch tires and 6 wheel drive.
* it's got a massive diesel in it. What's not to like?
* it can carry an XJ plus another half ton offroad
* no more renting a truck to move, ever

In college I won two goldfish at an on-campus fair thingy .... I named them Simon and Simon cause I loved that show!!! My roommate started calling me MrSimon ...... hence the name.

buy a dodge diesel tow rig with a trailer

and then whatever is left do what mr shaft said get it turned into singles and make it rain
