What was your first vehicle....?

1969 oldsmobile delta 88 "baby vomit green" 455 2bbl, th400 trans... cruise all day at 100...until you needed gas...the kicker is that interior was spotless and the air worked... Failed safety inspection for a cracked manifold so I junked it for $25.. I was 16 what can I say?

My 95 xj that i'm driving now. Also last summer I picked up a 1990 Grand Wagoneer that was sitting on the side of the road for free. Once I get the XJ straightend out I wanna get the waggy on the road (needs 2 transmission seals, radiator, fan shroud and frame repairs.

74 Dodge Dart Swinger 318 3spd Auto

Carb NOT jetted for this altitude as I found out after I sold it.... :(

Didn't know squat about anything autmotive until I got into them 2 sets of wheels later shame really it was an awesome car and I occasionally see it around still as it was so very original and complete and totally uncommon.... got it for 1700$ 36000 on the clock... I understand it has a 340 in it now..

CO car from birth...

Sold for 2K.

hang on a second.. :(

K I'm done...

A 1969 VW Bug. My dad gave it to me after I wrecked it in 1983. Bought it back from the insurance company for $50, spent $300 to get it running again and sold it 2 years later for $500. I have promised myself that I will never own a VW again.

Red 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport....I waited to start out right, put a K&N in and a CB radio and rolled stock for the 1st year, then after some time a put on a 3" Blackdiamond lift kit and 31" BFG

my first car was a 1970 Chevy Vega Wagon. I put more oil in that car than gas. It smelled from spilled beer and spilled bong water. Drove around in the winter with the windows open. Looked like a Cheech and Chong movie.

My other car was a 1969 Plymouth Baracuda, MOPAR. it was yellow. I painted it silver with a flat black hood and black Landau roof. Beautiful! Someday I'll learn how to scan a picture. We blew the engine when we had it floored on the Highway coming back home to Chicago from Wisconsin at about three in the morning. We had it buried for about four or five minutes without letting up!! (Beer and bong water) We rebuilt the engine and started over.

Thanks for making me remember some good times and good friends.

1970 Dodge 1/2 ton 4x4 pickup. I paid my brother 100 bucks for it in 1992 when I was 16. Also my first engine rebuild a month later. It's amazing the looks you get with a rusted out ugly truck with a 440 big block blowing away the new camaro and mustangs that the rich kids parents bought them.....

Too bad someone in a pontiac pulled out in front of it and it rolled 4 time end over end two years later. That's when I bought my first jeep, a 1976 CJ-5. I've had 5 jeeps and 2 dodge trucks since. Still have 3 of the jeeps. 1989 XJ, 1992 XJ, and a 2003 Liberty.

"y'all say redneck whitetrash like it's a bad thing?????"

Hmm... Did I post in here yet? Well, I'm bored.

1980 Pontiac Lemans 2 Dr when I was 14. It was a decent starter car and had a strong V6, IIRC.
1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme when I was 16. We special ordered it. No half top, v8, 4bbl, it had the same build as the Hurst package that year, but without the "ticket me" paint job. Took 8 months to get it, and someone rear ended the LeMans trade in the day the Olds came off the truck.
1993 Nissan Quest (first year, for the wife, we're no longer married, she still has it)
1998 Harley Davidson Fat Boy -- daily driver, modded at Zippers, got more than I paid for it when I sold it in 2000 (was trying to appease the wife, didn't work, should have kept the bike)
2000 Dodge Ram with the 5.9 gass hog (sold it right before the divorce)
2002 Subaru WRX -- too much work done to list, and it was quite the looker (was my "look what I can do" car after the divorce, lol)
2001 XJ -- sold the WRX and picked this one up.... needed to slow down and enjoy the view, mission accompished.

1970 Mini 1000 bought for £40 when I was 16. Spent 6 months rebuilding it, passed my driving test in it and had it for 3 years. Crashed it at least 5 times, ended up upgraded to Mini Cooper 1275cc spec motor but stock drum brakes, scary from 100mph. Don't know how I survived.

1979 cutlass supreme

clean car considering it was 17 years old

260 v8 automatic

glasspacks

and a homemade paint job

man i wish i had that car now before i got my mitts on it

My first ride was a cherry 1985 Chevy Caviler 4-door station wagon, loving refered to as "The Shagg'n Waggon". It was baby blue. Ahhhh.... the memories.

83 Tercel Wagon 4WD. 6spd standard with a 1.4L 4-banger and 350,000km. Bought it for $100 and it was unstoppable. An awsome rally car. Drove it for 2 years before blowing 2 trannies. One while Rallying in Chilliwack and the other going up Mt Seymour. I got rear ended and pushed forward into another car in it and took no damage. The next best thing to and XJ in my opinion.

My first was a 79 mustang with a 2.5 four cylinder with a four speed stick. Lots of memories in that car. Got it for free from my parents and sold it to the junk yard for fifty bucks after I beat the hell out of it. Went through a quart of oil every fifty miles.

My first car was a 79 Buick Skylark....that thing was a tank, it seen more trips up and down the river than most 4x4's.

1971 Pontiac Lemans, 350/350 vinyl bench seat, HO Racing front end, solid bushings in the suspension, handled like a dream for a car that big. Saw it about two years ago and should have bought it back.
