What was your first vehicle....?

1977 (?) Fiat 127, age 13. This is the car that the Yugo was based on, but actually had fairly decent mechanicals. Didn't stop it from rusting to hell after I ran it all over the fields learning to drive, though. Got it when my mother bought a Honda Civic to replace it.

The first car I legally put on the road was a 1982 Ford Capri 1.6LS. Great car, but didn't handle worth a damn. Nearly killed me after I put it head-on into a stone wall going 60 courtesy of a patch of black ice.

99 XJ Sport. Couldn't ask for a better first car. Of course, I'll be paying for it for the next 4 years.....bummer.

The first car I bought is my 90 cherokee, I have totaled it once (fixed it good as new) and even with 207,000 on the clock I plan on keeping this thing forever, even if it totally dies i'll store it somewhere for a future buildup.

1970 VW. God parents gave it to me and I put in a new tranny. Wrapped it around 2 trees. Cutting school to boot. Got in trouble for that one. Bought another bug and rolled it.

77 trans am, 68,000k black on red, with t-tops and a/c, god i miss that car!

'65 Ford Fairlane, 289, 4-speed. This was in 1975.
LOTS of good times in that one! :laugh3:

1977 olds cutlass 442 basically a cutlass supreme with 442 decals 350 rocket v8 and auto on the floor . Bought it for $100 pass. side door was wired shut because the door latch didnt work , had 3 different size tires, windshield leaked when it rained, and if it was below 40 degrees out it would only start by spraying either down the carb. A REAL S**T BOX!! but I drove it for a year then tore it apart and destroyed it in a demolition derby.

I got a 1984 Jeep Cherokee just before I turned 16. It had a 2 inch lift and 30 inch bf goodrich tires. I beat the hell out of that thing and it still went. I've still got it, 265,000 miles on it. I plan to cut the weight back and make some major mods, put on a 6 inch lift, probably 33's. I've got a 12 bolt going in the back. Should be an awesome vehicle when I'm done.

My first and only, my 95 Cherokee. I've been driving it for the 3 years since I got my license and have constantly been working on it and upgrading it, a little at a time. I totaled it a little while back and as soon as I get home from school I'm going to start the rebuild (it's going to be the best spring break ever!)

I liked my XJ to begin with, then I got in the crash. Any other vehicle and I probably would have rolled it or flipped it, and who knows if I could have walked away from that. And to top it all off, most of the damage is only cosmetic! Man I love Cherokees!!! :laugh3:

And who would want to kill such a nostalgic thread? I mean come on, it's history!

1967 Buick GS340 Gran Sport (racing stripes and hood scoops stock)
Given to me by my sister after she got married and I went into the Navy in 75. Drove it for 3 years before I blew it up on a 120mph run in Northern California.
