HOLY CRAP! I had a 67 Dodge Dart GT as my first car! It was an auto, white interior, bucket seats, slant 6 bored .30 over, 4bbl carb, primer, white top, white bumble bee stripes in the rear. Had the neat turn signals on the top of the fenders in the chrome trim. Neat car!

Not my first car, nor even really my car at all, but long ago on a job we had as our work vehicle a '60 Valiant wagon with the pushbutton shift. It was a non-profit organization, and the car had been donated. This particular one had a couple of issues. The tailgate hinges had fallen off, so it couldn't be opened, and one of the door hinges had also fallen off. It had a hole in the transmission modulator, so it burned about a quart of fluid every hundred miles or so, and took about 10 seconds to engage in gear from neutral. It also was MISSING an upper ball joint. That's right, the top of the knuckle assembly just rested in the hole where the ball joint had been. The right front wheel was seriously decambered. It tracked a little funny, but cornered great. So anyway, one day a colleague parked the thing on a hill while it was running, set the brake and put it into park. The brake was of course useless, and it jumped out of park and rolled into a tree, and the fan hit the radiator. It wasn't worth fixing, so we immediately drove it to the dump. By the time we got there, it had lost all its coolant and was really cooked. We just left it there, ticking and hissing and smoking. That's how you drive a slant six into the ground.

1991 gmc sonoma
4 inch trail master lift
lift was on when i bought it, someone put on the wrong lift I replaced the ball joints 6 times in 1 year, then sold it. I loved that truck!

1950 Hudson Pacemaker brougham. It was my mother's car. When she bought a new station wagon the dealer offered my parents $100 for the old car. I was a year shy of getting my license, so they kept the old hulk and that became my car when I got my license.

1992 Jeep Cherokee. My dad installs garage doors so we traded the guy that owned it 2 garage doors for the Jeep. It was wrecked at the time so he gave us all the parts to fix it. We layed in the garage all winter while working a couple hours at night after my dad got home from work. It was two wheel drive so we swapped that out for a AW4 tranny and a NP242 Transfer Case. Sanded and painted rusty spots and now it looks half way decent:peace: Still waiting to get it on the road though it still needs a front bumper mount, and a windshield.

1988 Ford Taurus Wagon, 3.0 that would never die.... 388K Km bought for $3000 CAD sold for $1200 CAD 6 years later, so the only vehicle that I got my moneys worh...

1998 Ford WindedStar, Worst vehicle ever........wife/kid DD.

1991 XJ, the thing I like about this one is the wife don't drive it...

First car was/is my current 95 Jeep Cherokee Country. I love my parents. :o

1982 (first registered in 1984; was used as a factory press demonstrator) Ford (European) Capri 1.6LS. Fun car, but didn't handle worth a damn - as I finally proved one night after hitting black ice and going head-on into a stone wall in it at about 60mph. The police said it was the worst accident they'd ever seen that everyone walked away from ('walked' being a relative term here, since I spent the next six months re-learning how to do that).

Got my 89 XJ for free from my uncle cause he hated it. Said it always over heated, and he couldn't figure out why. Turns out it was a bad hose. So for $5 I got my first Jeep. :greensmok

1980 firebird formula. Bought it for 400 bucks slaped some hoosers on it and a pst bushing kit. Then my dad blew the engine racing a monty down the freeway. 2nd was a 85 xj 2.8

1989 Mustang LX 4banger with 500 miles on it. My sister and I got it in 1989, and my father is now driving it to work in Atlanta (he doesn't want to mess up his new car). They are moving and I think it will be sold though. Kind of sad, as it was my first car.
