What was done to YOUR rig(XJ/MJ) today MECHANICALY????

headlight harness and Hella 100/80W bulbs. need housings but everything else is in

Nice. When I did that in flight school, the first night driving home I looked down and I was doing 70. I thought I was doing about 35 with how fast I was catching the light compared to how it was.

The first weekend that I don't have something on Saturday morning is possibly Feb 27th. Should I put it on the calendar?

Sounds good, I will too

84 diesel got the rear view mirror reattached and headlights fixed today, and 87 got a window leak fixed (I hope ??)

Came all the way to Texas ...

I am already here in central Tacoville LOL

What can I check? Up on lift all seems tight and in proper working order. Have not drievn the Jeep much since the Rally and I trailered it there. On I35 at 65-70 it "SEEMS" like maybe the front wheels pull a very little bit left and right like something loose. Not enough that I need to correct just kind of a little pull????

What are the odds of both head lights working on regular and not working at all on the bright setting (89 jeep). I serviced the dimmer switch in the column about 4 years ago, it was like new, and I installed a remote relay harness 3 years ago to move the load to the relays and out of the headlight switch.

Replaced one bulb in 84 and both bulbs worked, but neither worked until we replaced the bad bulb. Odd to say the least.

Head light gremlin on the loose?

I had new tires once that pulled so bad brand new they changed lanes in 2-3 car lengths hands free on the steering wheel

don't mind the large pictures i forgot to resize them before uploading.

Taco run on Edgebrook in 5 days?

I changed my brake Master cylinder (87 Wagoneer) to a Raybestos brand from Rock auto, but while it seems a little better than the 3 new AZ duracrap ones I tried the last 3 years, I still have a mushy peddle with the engine running, and solid peddle with the engine off. Mushy all the way to 3/4s of the way to the floor, then it is rock hard. All new parts front and back, new rotors, new drums, new pads, new hoses, new hardware, new wheel cylinders,

and a new Vac Booster (3 years ago, about the time this started). This one is one of the worst problems I have ever had to debug. Did find bad (new and recently new) wheel cylinders from AZ. One was not leaking fluid, but was letting air in. Never seen that before, but I hear it does happen. One new AZ wheel cylinder leaked fluid right out of the box this month. Switched brands and sources to Napa.

Fixed my diesel Rear view mirror, and the 87 Wagoner drivers side electric window, Hot damn!!!! That one made my day!!! No more getting wet to buy whoppers at BK and reaching around the door, LOL!!

Also fixed a small window gasket leak on 87 Wagoner.

Now all I need is 2 new Borg eye ball implants (cataract surgery next month, they replace the lens in the eye with an artificial one) so I can dodge all the blind idiots on the road LOL, and perfectly working brakes.

Still wondering if there is a rare fault with Vac boosters that can cause this problem, but so far that makes no sense to me unless some parts of the booster are collapsing with vacuum applied, but even that is hard to picture.

New front bumper: ordered

Merry Christmas to me

Successfully installed new pinion bearings in the For 8.8 I've planned to swap in for about 7 years now. Yay for finally starting to get things done. Now onto carrier bearings, cut off old mounts, weld on new mounts, adapt brakes etc.
