What was done to YOUR rig(XJ/MJ) today MECHANICALY????

So you have an Aussie up front? Knowing your luck with auto lockers, that's where I'd look first. Good thing you have that fancy pants 2 post lift.

Had to run an errand that required the jeep. Made some hood vent covers

My 91 would fry the tps every time it rained whenever I had my vents, it sucked

its strange to me how varied the opinions/experiences are on whether or not it causes an issue.

I should just make a drip tray and be done with it.

:) Luckily it was not my diff or locker. I blew the double cardan joint in my front diff. At one point in a revolution it was hanging up. Rebuild kit is like $50. I never rebuilt one I hope not "Rocket Science"

I'd just buy a new shaft but $300 :(

Made some drip pans for my hood vents tonight.

Mine is still sitting in my driveway with a busted rear diff. Might just go buy another 8.25 if the guy that did my gears doesn't come and check it out soon.

Borrowed a 2016 Tacoma from work

It's nice

Drove in the rain, no issues. Drip pans doing their job

I grabbed these today. Gonna use the drip tray on the drivers side, leave the passenger wide upen. Try my luck again...

I had mine rebuilt and spin balanced at a driveshaft repair place on Griggs and I-45 about 8 years ago. Ran about $85. I did not feel I had the tools to rebuild it right. Used for two rigs and drive shafts. I found them to handle the double cardan *7 4x4 wagoneer) and they sold me on balancing the entire DS-joint assy. Did the 85 diesel too. Been happy ever since.

With help (still unable to wrench my self due to the RA, and now bad ass cataracts forming thanks to the steroid, that have me nearly blind, may be doing the cataract surgery option first of the year.

I got the 89 Cherokee my daughter drives, back on the road with a new front end. It had a bad case of death wobble. At about 170,000 miles the OEM from end was toast. New tie rods, drag link, stabilizer and track bar made it like new.

I have another 8.25 coming my way. Should have it swapped in this weekend.

Forgot how heavy axles are. :) This will be fun.
