tires are done, trimmed the rear quarters back as far as I could now just have to finish up by trimming the fronts some more.

Well due to the fact CLayton's long arms are TOO long for my XJ, things have came to a stand still.

No, magi and I found a way to fix it. A little fab work is all we need.

I LOVE my AMC XJ. It has seen more trail time than yours have and ALOT less down time. lol

i got a phone call today from my mom, apparently the XJ that wouldnt need any work anytime soon was having some problems with going. i think i'll let them take it to a mechanic and spend a small fortune... then tell them to change the solid block that is the airfilter... i miss my jeepy weepy :(

installed my new steering and put the front wheels back on. then test drove it . it is really a lot harder to turn with a welded diff

Oh yeah man welded diff fronts suck, unless you have manual locking hubs, and then it still a bitch to get out and unlock hubs just to turn.

Just want to make sure it's ok to drive with different gears in each axle as long as the front driveshaft is not in. Putting the new d44 in today.

i think its funny when people weld their front diff and add hydro assist to make up for the hard steering, when you could just get a locker for a lot cheaper than a hydro set up costs

Noticed a knocking in my engine, so its back to the shop for mine in the morning.

I got my jeep back today.............yup thats progress to me cause the Exo is finally done!!!! Also picked up a trailer to tow it on for the long trips!!! Woohoo!!!

not much. got bored friday so i nasty cut some of my old 33" swampers i had layin around. not done yet but 8 hours with a groovers wears your arms and back out

replaced the bad battery and tried to figure out why i can't open my passenger front door. something is wrong with the lock i think so it is like barely locked. Also i do plan on putting in a lunchbox locker pretty soon i just wanted more traction for ROM
