Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

Nice Cage!!!

I put in my new autozone gold top class 34 battery. meh 1000 cranking amps is nice though.

Oh yeah. Also sprayed bed liner on my front and rear bumpers to compliment the two tone project from last weekend. And I put little cheese-cloth bags of activated carbon charcoal around the interior to suck out the smell.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

Well it's back sitting on all fours. Still need to finish my hack n tap, all the rear end stuff and adjust the front end some more. I am still too far forward on my front axle but this time I have room to adjust it.

Lil red, thanks for the offer but we got it figured out.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

I guess you gotta see it in person. I wasn't crazy at first just seeing it in pictures (friend who did it lives 70 miles away). However seeing it up close its really tighter than it looks to the body and it looks amazing! I love it so I guess thats all that matters haha.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

Flat towed (behind my 08 Dodge 1500 QC) mine out to Bridgeport for a nice "Sunday drive" with some fellow XJ's and Jeeper's. Didn't get to see many rocks, since most of the time was spent trudging/sliding through the mud. Photo credits go to Crusher16.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

found out my valve lifters need replacing, so mine will be out of commision the rest of the week. Not sure how much actual work and labor its gonna cost, but all I gotta pay is a benjamin.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

I took mine and got a full service wash! Shampooed the carpets and put shiny stuff all over it.
Its never been this clean...and probably wont be again for quite awhile
But it makes for a nice for sale ad pictures!

Put in a new TPS.

Id like to meet the geniuses that decided it was a good idea to put torx head bolts on everything involving the throttle body. Took longer than it should have.
