What was done to YOUR rig(XJ/MJ) today MECHANICALY????

I dont want a KL :)

Not a stock radiator. Is a "2 ROW ALL METAL CONSTRUCTION" from my receipt from 2012. Thanks Radiator Barn.

I always had good luck with their 3 row all metal.

Sadly I heard they went out of business.

Checked the rubber patch job I did a week ago on the CV outer boot of the Saturn, after about 15 miles of driving at up to 40 mph and many intersection turns to stress test it, it showed ZERO grease leaking (it slings it out all the inner wheel and wheel well if it is not air tight). So far so good!!!

First time trying this. I researched the hell of this and the possible products to use and found an awesome air dry sealant for scuba gear. Put a second coat on today and will test it at highway runs in week. I seem to have the caster calibration (done my self in the driveway) under control well enough on this one as well to go back to DD use on this one. Now to find the massive new water leak source, RAIN. Going to try and solve that and add refrigerant to the Ford to see if that is all it needs for the AC. Steering is still a bit stiff, not sure why. May be trapped air like my mushy 87 Jeep brakes.

Yes but others bought them or replaced them online. I can tell you this, 95% of the sellers claiming to sell a 3 row radiator including the parts houses are all lying. I did find one still available last week with the real McCoy. The way to tell is the core thickness, it is almost 2" thick, if not it is a 2 row they are calling a 3 row.

Got the trans cooler on tonight. Sweet jesus is hot out. Fired it up and let it run for a few minutes. No leaks!

Bummer is that I think the ac leaks and it is out of refrigerant.

Always something haha

AC always takes a leak on hot days like this.

Yeah I got my caliper replaced after having done the power steering pump, going to go wheeling this weekend in Gilmer at BMRA(east Texas)...The AC isn't cool anymore... supposed to be in the mid 90s this weekend...

Ordered radiator for my junk: https://amzn.com/B000CFVMH8

I need to swap in all the new AC components I have sitting in my garage. Might do that when I swap in the new radiator.

Noticed yesterday that my AC isn't blowing cold anymore... :(

Was working fine the last time I drove it like a few weeks ago...

not sure what happened.

Oh and I'm going to gilmer this weekend...should be nice and hot without the AC :(

Have fun :) I miss Gilmer.

Did a pre safety inspection check on the 89 2wd XJ today, and found the two front turn signal lights to not flash, the rear ones do, I suspect 2 bad bulbs since the use 2 filaments as recall and the running light part works and rears do flash. Will verify Monday and try for inspection then. All else was good to go except one amber front running light bulb was out.

changed my oil, and finally broke down and realized it truly is cheaper to buy a stock cherokee and feed the goodness off my beater to it rather than polish the turd that it is. but you know for a sub $100 jeep that really only needed to haul the wifey and I across country once it did a good job at that.

Non turd Stock Cherokee? LOL

Blinker fixed. Had to run a new wire. Also noticed in the pic above the ac fan wasn't seated right. So I seated that back. Hopefully it passes inspection tomorrow.
