What should I do?

But all the lunch boxes that fail are in the front...

The one guy that bought my old d35 non c clip broke his rear. But we are also talking about a 35 but shouldn't matter. Everything I have been able to find lunch box's are rated for 32" tires.

I only want the axles out of the toyota, nothing else

It is funny how after several pages on a thread you finally get all of the information out so that we can provide informative suggestions ;)

Personally I would stick with what you have. I would monitor the condition of the locker when you change fluid, but I wouldn't be too worried about the locker, in my experience when they do go they usually give you some warning, and you can always pull it out on the trail and hobble home without the locker.

I would save up my pennies and I would get an ARB when you put in the 29 splines (not much more than the detroit and much easier on parts and tires) and that should last you as long as you want, but carry a spare set of shafts when you can find them for a decent price.
