What mods did your jeep get this winter?

I moved one of my xj over about 5ft. and forward about 3ft. to make room for a 86 gw. Ill get some things done to it this summer unless I buy another toy.

does a whole new jeep count?:D

No doubt. That was the first thing on my list.

It's a great feeling. Isn't it?

(i'd use other analogies but they probably wouldnt go over very well:D)

I started in the fall also. To begin with a 90XJ limited that needed an PS pump, valve cover gasket, damn busted seat.... But had lots of potential :) Long story short. Stock leaky turd to:

Axles:
Waggy D44's front and rear. With heavy duty trusses. 4:88's Aussie in back. Front open for now.

Suspension:
RK 3-link long arm, RK track bar Home fab mounts.
4.5" Front springs and shocks, 2" spacer. Bastard (S-10) rear pack with UHMW strips, 1.5" Shackle.

Steering & Brakes:
Chevy 1T TRE's, 1.250" DOM tube. "Newer" steering box (no leaks) 1.5" drop pitman. New calipers and wheel cylinders.

Tires & wheels :
35" :) BFG KM's, 15x8 black steel.

all this #@#$ and still sitting in the garage!! Still needs:
Finish rear gears. NP242 homebrew SYE, Bleed the brakes and GO !! You know just about another 50-100 hours and she may be ready.
I also am trying to raise my 3 kids (4-7) and work my 40 hrs.

Sleep is just a frame of mind I try to achive at work :) Just kidding.. I was suddenly, fatally, infected with the XJ sickness. Or is it genetic? Hmm..
Sorry about the long post with no pics. I have some pretty good ones but I dont know how to post PICS yet :) But dont worry they will come as soon as the "Beast" is on the road!!

ARB for the front D-44 to replace the destroyed Detroit. Swapped the quick air2 and air tank from the TJ to the XJ.
Replaced the bushings in the long arm setup. (Royal PITA, looks like it will be an annual chore)
Set of Warn Premium Hubs to replace the too quick to fail superwinch hubs.
Oh Yeah, and I got a 96 XJ.
something like 5 weeks till the season starts.

Kind of curious: how did you destroy the detroit?

Sheared most of the teeth from one side (Inside). Noticed a clicking when climbing small grade hills in Nov. Went on 3 trips in Dec/Jan. Finally it turned into a limited slip diff, one wheel not turning, but the shaft and hub were still intact.
As to how, guess it was just over time. It was about 2 years old, but I do 10 - 14 trips a year. Was on 35's for most of that time. Put 38's on it last fall. I'm not soft on the poor ol' thing.

I worked just before it broke!
