So, I'm sitting here working on a pretty good buzz and I'm thinking; we all have different tastes when it comes to vehicles (other than the obvious interest), whats everybodys taste as far as brew goes?

I'm not trying to start a pissing fight over what beer everybody thinks is good and what sucks. I just wanna know what y'all like.

For me, it's usually Yuengling Lager, sometimes Miller lite when I'm out in public and don't wanna get too drunk... lol

Go to Lyndonville VT, and pick up some "Trout River". I spent a year of college up there, and its the best brew, their raindow red ale. And if your on the westcoast, try "Fat Tire", my cousin brought that back from CO and it was great.

But when I'm poor and in Maine, Bud Light cans.

Philippine San Miguel, not the Spanish stuff made under license, but the original. I think the Philippine XXXX Roaches that fall into the vat, add to the flavor.

coors light

Too many to mention.

I do not drink cheap beer. Never!

Lately I've been drinking more Stella than anything (Belgium Lager). A few of my old stand bys would be Guinness, Bass, Pacifico, Negra Medelo.

Also anything that comes out of John or Ron's soda kegs is always tasty

if it's beer it's gonna be Coors, Bitburger, or Warsteiner.

The hard stuff calls for Jameson's Whiskey
Warsteiner is a pretty good Beer, but I just enjoy the way everything just stops for a breath or two ( a long three count of silence), when I order a San Miguel in a German Gasthaus. :laugh3:
San Miguel and steak just seems to go well together.

I brew my own beer.. IPA 60, 90, 120 minutes... Celabration.. Ports

Beer--I always bring back a couple cases of Lone Star when I go to see my brother in Texas, or he come to Tennessee to see me. When that isn't available, Bud Light.

Other--My preferred whiskey is Edradour which is a Scotch from a small distillery in Pitlochery Scotland. When that isn't available, I get the old standby from down the road in Lynchburg, Jack Daniel. My wife's favorite whiskey is Elijah Craig.

Non-Alchoholic--Crack open a Diet Coke and I am happy.

Standbys are Sierra Nevada or Pyramid Pale Ale (or Porter if I can find it)

found a couple good locals recently... Highland Brewing Oatmeal Porter and Cottonwood Brewing Low Down Brown and Endo Pale

John's Oatmeal Stout was very tasty, and his "Scott Free" Ale got me started in this whole thing.

My latest ESB is pretty tasty. Cold/Dry hopping is the bomb. I think I'm hanging up the attempts on a good Hefe until my system is in better shape, that and until I can culture my own yeast.

Pyamid Hefe is good, so was the SeanR supplied bottles. Help me out here Sean, I forgot the name of the brewery in WI...
