i had a cherry bomb type muffler before the super 40 and i did not like it. it sounded to tractor like for me. just my .02 cents

I think that the 2 chamber flowmaster is the best sounding muffler out there, of course that's strictly my opinion. I have ran it on every vehicle I've owned, from a turbo'd shelby daytona to big block 69 dodge coronet, flowmaster just seems to have the meanest sound. My Jeep seems to be the quietist that I've heard for a 2 chamber, but it definately still sounds mean under WOT, with the custom intake it gets pretty loud.
