Still no luck hasta :dunno: I changed my email addy on half a dozen other 4x4 forums tonight, without a hitch. I recieved my comfirmation emails within a minute of changing my email.
I changed over to Verizon DSL about a month ago. Everything was working perfectly until 6:30pm on 3/2/07. I was replying to a message and when I hit the "post reply"

froze, not my computer. (strange) So I refreshed and got "Internet Explorer cannot display page". So I went down the list of restart internet explorer, restart computer, restart modem, uninstall and reinstall IE, install firefox, check my computer for viruses/spyware, hook up modem to a different computer, and even spend an hour on the phone with Verizon's IT department. . A couple days go by and I remember proxy servers, so I set up a couple. SUCCESS, kinda,

software is aware of the proxy server and blocks most everything I do. But that was my answer, through all of that, one of the only common denominators is my IP address. So I change my IP address and finally total success. Well that was until I tried to change my email address in "user CP". and that is where we are today.
I don't know where to go from here????? I will change my IP again tonight.
What email account could I use to get my "comfirmation code"? Would a hotmail account work? They don't have a spam blocker that I am aware of.
If you have some free time I just set up a hotmail account:
[email protected] and the password is: XXXXX send the "comfirmation code" there, and then see if it appears. If not, then ???????????? If so I will beable to use

again, and you won't have to see me cry any more.
Sorry that this is been such a hassle, but hopefully you understand. I have been a member since 02 , former chapter president, secretary/treasure, not that any of that matters. I am just trying to show that I am not a complete retard, but I sure feel like it.
If you can get me fixed up I will send you a beer or twelve.
Thanks for your time. I am sorry that I have been taking you away from other important stuff
