What I did over Spring Break-OHC, WJ Seats, etc.

Well it was finally halfway decent weather in Iowa so I decided to get some projects on my 99 done. I added an overhead console, a Gentex autodimming mirror (per Magimerlin's writeup, thanks!), and WJ front seats on the interior. I also got some stuff cleaned up on the exterior, took off the side moulding (about a month ago actually, just hadn't added pictures yet), got new Cherokee decals, painted the orange section of the taillights red, plus got some new Dueler Revos. Oh, I also got new exhaust in the form of a Magnaflow Cat, Flowmaster Super 40, and Dynomax tailpipe about a month ago. Here are some pictures...

The seats started out filthy but still very soft...

All cleaned up...

Installed with the 96- XJ Charcoal leather back seat...

Overhead Console and Autodimming Mirror (write up will follow soon-time permitting)

Revos...and no side mouldings...

Red tails

Crooked exhaust system, but it still looks and sounds good.

A member on here made it for me...but I don't really want to disclose who since I don't know if he wants to be publicly known as the maker of these.

Haha, that is the question isn't it? The way I figure it is if I average the two temperatures I will get the real one. When I'm driving, they're actually the same, but the GM temp sender points upwards towards the radiator, so when sitting in one spot, it reads higher.

Ya know, I thought about that, but it will only display 130* or so IIRC.

Yeah, it might have been from you; thanks Tim. I'm looking forward to finally having a load range C tire on my XJ again; I already love the Revos too. I swear at some point I will finally respond to all your messages or your request to get on AIM too, I have been working my ars off on this and other friends' XJs though.

Yeah I had XJ leather from a 98 but it was light gray and didn't match my charcoal interior. The WJ seats are 10x more comfortable too, much more padding.
