Actually made a little progress today. Got my spring perches and shock mounts on my rear axle and got it bolted into the rig My Super 8.8 kit is SUPPOSED to be here Monday.... we'll see

OOOHHH, John post up some pics when you get it in, and maybe of the install I'm very interested in seeing these.

Front locker and Drop Brackets are in/on.

still to do:
straighten/Reinforce front recovery points
OBA (PLZ)
JCR 1ton steering (maybe), or at least align again
got the airsoft measured out and bagged, now just gotta get them in the trxus.
Eleventy scrillion other small things.

3.install dif covers sitting on my floor
4. paint and install bumpers w/ tow points sitting in garage
5. finish sliders and install

Go to local pull and save yard and pick up a 231.
Install 231
Then install the reason for the 231 swap, a TnT Y-link system.
Get alignment then wheel'er some more.

Done. Got the Y-link on, the T-case in, and for good measure threw an Aussie in the front. As well we Aussie Locked my dads front and installed a DPG skidplate.

Install d44 in rear w/4.88's(done)
Install non-disco d30 w/4.88's(soon to be done)
Purchase some body armor,rails and thor's.(half done)
Purchase cb, thats not chrome and hideous.(done)
Mount fullsize spare on rim.(oops forgot about this one,soon to be done)

That should just about do it, oh yeah buy bumpers and winch.:doh:

Glad i am not the only one thats so excited that i am already packing :clap:

1. gears front and rear
2. Aussie's front and rear (if i ever get the rear from northridge)
3. get the D44 installed
4. Crusher diff covers front and rear
5. install belly pan x-member
6. gas tank skid still needs installed
7. still can't get my NSS to work. if i do then i'll put on the after market back-up lights i got.
8. if time and money permit...rear disk conversion on the 44.
9. whatever breaks between now and then
10. probably some other misc. stuff i am forgetting, but 1-7 should clean the parts outta my garage.

:repair: #5 & 6 in the next cpl weekends, 7 is on order, 8 is being replaced with the duel booster swap from a 95'. 10 turned out to be U joints and a SYE. everything else is done, done, done! party1:

4. bigger tires (31s or 33s havent decided yet depends on how lift goes)
5. locker for D30 up front (hopefully sometime in the next 3 months)

A little of an update.

2 new TSL's. Maybe 4.

Better than stock X member.

Ordering the TnT HD replacement one next month, or might 'beef' up a stock one.

SYE and DS.

Lengthened front shaft by Bill @ Aukeen Driveline.

Chop back half of roof off.

Wont Happen this year. But will more and likley be hatchless.

Maybe add some sort of cage if the roof gets chopped off.

Might start at the end of the summer.

Remove doors and carpet.

Doors will stay on, possibly half doors for the front. Carpet might stay, but probably not.

Relocate rear shocks.

Next weekend.

Diff guards F&R.

RuffStuff ones next month.

A few more things...

Got some rock lights, and newer rear brakes.


Then have enough $$$ to try to make it to Serria Fest.

Won't happen, gas prices way too high, should of expected it. Next year hopefully.
