What do you have to get done.....

Gotta work on the pop-up a little bit. I need a new propane hose from the bottle to the outside grill hookup and fix a water leak inside.

As for the Jeep, I got my new coils ordered but I'm not sure if they will be here before we leave. If not, I'll run what I have, I'll just have to be carefull I don't spit a coil out.

I'm going to look at the 5.9 on Saturday. He only wants $1500 for it (145,000 miles) because he has been quoted $1000-$1400 to fix the issues in the differential. He dropped it from $2500 last week. If it is in good shape and I can get it for $1500 or less, then put $200 into it with a junk yard axle, I'll feel pretty good about. Then I'll turn around and sell it for $3700! :guitar:

Question would be if I had time to source and replace an axle before the crawl....

On a crawl related note, I did get the Durango box, got the JCR brace, and put on some spacers today. Going to bolt her up tomorrow night and see how the ole XJ does. Hopefully this is the end of my steering woes!

It'd be a step in the wrong direction but couldn't you just pull a D35 out of a regular ZJ in the yards?

It is the front axle that is bad. I'd need to pull a ZJ front with 3.73s in it from a 96-98 V8. I am told, but not confirmed, that the 5.9 came with a D44 in the rear.

Its probably the D44a(aluminum pumpkin) axle. So, since you're gonna sell it anyways...............Tim's idea is a go, right? :D

If this works for you I may consider doing it to mine down the road since it may be gaining some weight soon! :D

i gotta find some spacer nuts (i need 2 of em)

If all else fails drive Rubicon

Fixed!

That will be a nice wagon to camp and tow with!

or serve food in?

working on some screen material to screen in the rear door opening with a slit walkthrough. People come in side door, hit up the L shaped counter and a table in the back, exit through overhead door. Should make a pretty efficient serving line.

Exactly! Sounds like a plan and thanks for offering up the new ride for food service.

After reading the NAXJA event rules, guess i need to add installing a spare tire carrier to my list!

Just strap it down in the back real well.

After years of trail riding, I really like my tools, air, cooler, etc back there. That 35 pretty much fills up the inside. It won't be bad adding the carrier. Just wasn't planned. Glad Ed posted up the rules for us new to NAXJA guys!

Sent you a PM about the spare.

I need to acquire and install a tow hitch....
Finish ironman trackbar install
Install shackle relocation brackets
DB's are done
Install motor mounts
Install CB
Rewire Hellas
Exhaust.......
My list is still way too long, moving sucks!!!

Looks like I'll be able to make it so I started getting my junk ready today. I rebuilt the upper radiator mount on Betty so that if she decides she wants to fly again, her radiator won't bounce out of the mounts. I think it will work out much better this time. I still need to order a new slave cylinder and fan controller, and also straighten my tie rod again.

I really just need to make a one out of solid bar stock lol. Then I dare it to bend!

HaT needed before i can leave the garage.. i m putting on some new coils this weekend.
and i need to drill out a new hole for the trackbar drop down bracket.

Leaf spring bushings....CHECK!!!!

Rubicon Express's crap:
