I swapped out a driver's side axle shaft today. We'll see if that helps with the interstate driving. Gonna check and double check all the steering bolts before I put the tires back on though.
Also decided not to run the spacers on the front axle. Maybe that will help too.

Yeah I thought about that but don't want to take any chances with damaging the tires. Those babies are expensive. My tie down ratchets should work just fine. Going to windrock next weekend and will try it out.

So I got done with the 6" lift on daughters 79 waggy and got my XJ back on lift. Replaced e-brake cable and got one of the four beadlocks on. Glad to be working on my jeep again.
