There is some good parts on there... It def. comes down to your final plans /w it and the owners history with it... I just quickly scanned the add... Questions I would ask/thing to check....
Take a peak underneath. Look at the skid plates, rockers, and axles. Did it take a huge hit that you can see? If there are obvious ones that look gnarly, ask where they happened! It's interesting to see if they deny the damage or tell you a cool story...
Has it ever had head gasket or overheating issues? It's an '01. They had a weird head that was known to crack and warp(causing gasket leak) if overheated.
Low or high pinion front end? Could make a difference in the long run... Last few years (either 99 or 00, not sure which off hand) had a low pinion front end. Damn thing takes different gears than the more common high pinion, will cause more shaft angle at higher lifts, and drags the yoke over stuff if you hit the diff on anything.
I cant see in the pic, but how is that winch mounted? Is it to a stock front bumper? If so, How is it reinforced beyond the factory 3 bolts per side holding it on? I have seen a few front bumpers ripped off from attempted recoveries...
One general rule of thumb when buying ANY car.... How does the overall package look cosmetically? I know when I sell a car, I go through EVERY nook and cranny and clean it(ask Yella about the interior in that 87 waggy I sold him...). Under the hood clean, body waxed and clean, underneath(to an extent), interior shampooed or at least vacuumed? The condition of a vehicle when somebody sells it speaks wonders about how the previous owner took care of their junk!
