No to the tow straps. You want recovery straps (straps with some elasticity). Make sure that you are getting recovery straps not tow straps, there is a big difference.

the straps also look kinda small, 10K is a little on hte weak side.

they are recovery straps and look to have the loop...not the hook at the end. The seller has 99% positive feedback. I've never bought anything from Ebay but thought this looked like a good deal. Too good??

The most common recovery straps sold are 20000 lbs x 20 or 30 ft. I pay $20-29 for mine at 30 ft. 10000 lbs is light.

i wouldnt trust'em- go with 3" or larger straps= piece of mind
