I have a lame ass job that pays me to ride is stupid jeeps at stupid off road parks just to network, I also have to go to the stupid Off Road trade shows and eat really expensive steak and drink a lot of really good beer. The worst part about that is the company refuses to let me pay for it like my money is no good to them. During my down time they make me sit in a A/C office and talk to people all day about stupid off road stuff, and then troll N.A.X.J.A. for porn. All this while they insist on paying me good money

I ride herd on several HP_UX servers, windows servers, workstations, routers, firewalls, etc. Have several good cigars at work as well as pizza and beer from various microbreweries, at various times of the year help with shows, work with crazy people who have fun. My boss, the owner, gives me various toys to play with once he buys them so I never know what new stuff will come my way.
I wish I had found this place 10 years ago...

I did aircraft maintenance & inspection for 18+ years.Now I'm fabricating & building all the medical components (motorized litter lifts, oxygen/suction control panels, overhead light assemblies, etc.) that go into the HH-60L Blackhawk medivac helicopters.I also build some of the medical components that go into the Stryker MEVs.

I'm a land surveyor. I spend 95% of my day outside, with little regard to weather. About the only times I've ever bagged a day in the field was because of -20 F temps with wind chills in the -40s, or heavy sustained downpours. I love my career and wouldn't trade it for the world.

I'm a coffee roaster. I operate the roasters, I blend beans for our espresso blend, I cup lots of coffee (production roasts for writing the label descriptions, and sample roasts to decide if we'll purchase them).

I sit around an office watching a movie or goofing around on my laptop waiting for the pager to go off, then I drive an ambulance. If I get really bored, I'll just take a nap (thinking about that now, actually) I love EMS work! Previously, I did customer service and UPS claims/calltags, then ran the pickup counter at Quadratec. Now, I get paid more for doing less work...

Mainly digging basements, tension ponds, foundations, parking lots, drainage, ect...

But when it's slow I do many other things, such as paint our shop, repair final drives, swap re-ends on the peterbilt, service the equipment, paint the equipment, snow removal, ect...
