What did you do to your XJ today

Started taring down the rear end for unibody repair.

Just checking bolts and whatnot.... Discovered my RC leaf spring bushings are toast, fml....... One more thing to do while the axle's are out getting re geared. Figured I better make a list;

-replace RC leaf bushings
-replace/re grease RC flex joints as needed
-service trans (fluid/filter/gasket)
-replace exhaust & 02's (cat, muffler and tail pipe)
-replace oil pan gasket
-install my zj discs on the rear finally
-clean and paint axles

Looks like I'll be waiting another week at least to do the gears. I want to take care of as much as I can while the axles are out and the jeep is down, plus a lot of this stuff will be much easier with no axles in the way so I need to take advantage of that. $$$$$

I just want to go wheelin already! Tired of this 'mall crawler' status.... Looks like that won't happen till fall though.

Got a set of these today

Gonna TRY to mount them in my hatch for reverse lights.... Anyone ever tried it? A friend of mine has some round ones in his hatch and they are nice, I just hope these aren't too deep.... Then when I get my bumper in I've got some other smaller ones for that. Got a good hookup, local guy with a tj that's a dealer that sells em at a great price!

Dude I was looking at those a few weeks ago and wanted to mount it into my bumper! But there's no way I was gonna pay what the goin rate is on them

Lol I've been looking at them for a while too, just had someone want to do some trading so it worked out pretty good! I just hope I can fit them in my hatch

Installed a cb radio that was donated to cause
Also last weekend while doing the pnw4x4 run at green water I got in a sticky spot that only the skinny pedal could fix, and I hit a stump so hard it pushed me right out the ruts! The armor did it's job and took the brunt of it, saved my window and 1/4 panel

Also fixed my toe in problem that ate up my fronts a little bit

Well uhhh if ya can't i can fit them in my bumper ;D

lol if they don't fit I'll let ya know, cause they won't fit in my bumpers either....

Or I'll trade ya for those brown dogs :p

fixed the front drivers side speaker. Positive wire went bad in the door. And I bypassed the window lockout switch. Damn stereotypical jeep problems.

Replaced my harmonic balancer before it let loose.

Yup the outer part slid off the inner with some ease.
Glad I had this kit already, no need to rent
