What did you do to your XJ today

Took it in to have the tires balanced after feeling a wobble the past few trips out.

I got real close to pulling the trigger on some new 33's while I was at it, but my current Coop's should easily carry me through summer. They just look pathetic.

The Jeep now drives great though after tightening the control arms, and a fresh tire balance!

What are you thinking you will replace the Coopers with?

Started the head gasket in the 91 on Friday and finished it up today.

Ordered a 2low kit and sye... also replaced the o - rings on my oil filter adapter

Picked this up for super cheap. Been wanting one for a bit, got all the brackets for it. The bumper itself didnt survive but I'm positive I can modify mine or at the least I know one at the junk yard near me with the bumper still on. Just no carrier

More like what happened in your XJ got stopped by state patrol for over height bumpers and almost got arrested for it because I guess I picked a fight. I simply said oh hold on this is for you and pulled out a email from the Wsp and it reads you Jeep Cherokee is rated at 4,900#s the officer who told you your vehicle is illegal for the street is miss informed at 4,900 #s you are good to 27 inch front bumper height. Thank you for you inquiry with the state troopers.

Yeah I've been stopped for that before too... quick visit to the DOL and they were nice enough to put the gvw on the registration.... loaded it down and went to the local scales and she weighed in at 4950. Took a picture too just in case.

Well, I finally did something other than drive it. Changed the oil yesterday and put in a new water pump and serpentine belt today.
