What did you do to your XJ today

Finally ditched the roller fairlead, and made a set of poly motor mounts.

I also did some measuring and started coming up with a plan for the 3 link.

You will like them. I've had mine on a few weeks and a couple wheeling trips.i have noticed a difference.

I noticed a small difference but as Cody and I talked about it, it's probably because my uni-frame hasn't been worn out and such compared to other with lots of wheeling/flexing/age.... But for me the most it's just a peace of mind knowing my jeep will be protected ish on the uniframe

I also laid down some seam sealer on my frame stiffeners so that should help keep moisture/mud and such from string in between the stiffeners and my uniframe. Then sprayed it all down with undercoating to cover and protect it.

- Replaced the mechanical fan clutch, pulled out a ZJ heavy duty unit and put back in a standard duty XJ unit. Doesn't seem to get hot enough here to need the HD unit.
- Fabbed a new bracket for my tranny cooler and moved it from the passenger side to the drivers side. Replaced all tranny cooler lines and plumbed it from tranny to cooler to radiator back to tranny.
- Did a "poor man's" tranny flush and replaced 2 gallons of Dex/Merc3. Old fluid was nasty looking.
- Changed plugs, also new oxygen sensor.
- Tightened/lubed the track bar joints.
- Lubed up all the nipples I could find.
- Checked all the nuts/bolts for tightness.
- Got lots of dirt in my eyes and mouth when laying under the Jeep.

Ready to go wheeling!
