What did you do to your XJ today

Yet after cleaning and adjusting the NSS, and swapping starters, the Jeep still won't crank from the ignition. :doh:
 
Swapped in a new ignition switch.

Yet even after that, I still couldn't get the starter to engage from the key. After some more troubleshooting, I discovered the ground connector for the starter relay had fallen into the PDC. Took the PDC apart, reconnected the ground, and all is well. :thumbup:

Scott I payed you to fix my charging issues, not sabotage my vehicle. :D

Welcome to the club dude. Mine front axle is needing so much work. I'm just tired of screwing with this XJ. I want to work on my JC. What it comes down to is installing frame stiffeners, welding on the track bar bracket. And then I'm going to 3 link it, and be done with it.
 
found a walking TRE, and found that the panhard bar frame side bracket is twisting my unibody around while steering:gonnablow

brace up the factory motor mount and unibody area, or go browndog lower brackets??? hmmmm .stupid steering

I'm deeply curious now, as you and I both have basically the same set-up :/
 
my steering has been weird feeling, and making loud poping noises after nwfest. with the newb run coming up I needed to figure out what I was working with. I figured you would be curious. yes you can watch it twist. by putting the factory bolts back into the bottom of the lower motor mount through where the factory track bar bracket was bolted. I "MAY" gain some rigidity. but w/o the welder I dono how much. if I have to weld it together I don't know if I want the factory stuff in there anymore. ill get a vid up if a can locate my camera. also one of the heims on the panhard is starting to have play (axle side)

im so glad I get to build a true wheeler!

flushed trans and replaced the OEM trans cooler with a B&M.
Repaired all the torn sections of my door seals. No whistling now!
Found a $20 in my air box under the filter.
??????????? got sucked in off the street I guess?

Wow thats the first occurance ever that i have heard of a jeep paying its owner. just empty every pocket doesnt apply to you friend! lol
