What did you do to your XJ today

Uh oh...the Tow Police are out!

Towing over 55 mph is also dangerous but I see alot of tards doing that too. That's why the speed is posted at 55 mph for trucks towing trailers.

ya ok go to nevada and see how dangerous it is with EVERY ONE towing and driving 70mph or better even the big rigs. I see more wrecks in the states with a slower speed for trucks than with out .

Josh see what you have done.

Had you been at SpecFab when Ben was there towing his MJ
You would know that my comment was a jab at him.
At SpecFab Ben was complaining about the hills towing the jeep.
He also was telling everyone how he was going to take a different road to get back because he had not gotten trailer breaks set up yet.

To continue with the defensiveness in the air, 7700 and that is with the 4.8 I have the 5.3.

And the drive down was fine I got my trailer brake controller in the mail today and ill tow my 4500 lb jeep on a 2000 lb trailer anywhere with out worry. I'm well under the rated capacity of my Yukon.

Are the brakes different on the 5.3? Your tow rating is how much you can safely stop. Not how much you can drag down the road.Hasta

I put my new NAXJA sticker on... W00T!

After killing ANOTHER orbital in less than a year (again). I warrantied this one and swapped it out for a blue top.. My jeep(s) could sit for months right next to nicks. He's always had a fully charged battery.. Mine was dead every time. Even if I disconnected it.. Or even left it on a maintainer/trickle charger..

I think there quality has gone down over the years. I use to sell them when they first came out and had them in everything I owned. I had a pair last close to 10 years in my first diesel truck. After that it was about the same as you. Replacing them all the time. I gave up and went back to deep cycle lead acid Deka batteries.
