Looks goodJust for a update I got the corners cut where I want them now and working on boxing the rest of the bumper in. I'm pretty happy with it and I like how it looks now.

Yesterday i pretty much got the basics of my bumper made its not complete yet but i think it turned out pretty good i'll post some pix of it sometime wen i get around to it

I think what he means it looks to busy. You kinda built a hybrid bumper from a truck bumper with a pre runner mounted on top of it. I personally like the truck bumper look of it with the corners angled up. My service trucks looks just like it but with a 12k winch mounted inside of it with a roller fair lead bolted to the front center.
If it was mine I would reinforce it to handle a winch cut the hole for the fair lead right in the center. I have an extra roller fair lead I would give you to mount on it.
I use the bumper on my service truck as a work bench all the time. It comes in handy to have a solid place to work on calls. My service truck has a vice mounted to the rear bumper, but I would have no problem mounting one on the front if it were mine.

Yeah the plans for the future with it when I do get a winch is to mount it on the inside just like you are talking about. Already plan on reinforcing it for a winch but was going to hold off on cutting the hole until I got the winch for it. The fair lead you got would be great though then that would be one less thing I have to get in the future. You know where I'm at so anytime you have time swing on through and check it out I'm out in the garage everyday.

Next time over at my parents place I will grab it and trow it in my car. That way I have it with me all the time so if I drive by I can throw it in the back of your truck if your not there.

Got some stuff done
Decided to switch to a bigger power steering cooler. The bigger one was being used as a tranny cooler by the PO. Figured since I don't have an auto I might as well use the bigger one for my steering.
removed the mechanical fan and replaced the studs with grade 8 bolts and washers
Trimmed the radiator support
still need to trim a little more on the driver side.

Put in the replacement steering box. Its so much tighter handling now. I like it. I also installed a new antenna. I can pick up radio stations again. YAY

I followed Glue And Tape around TSF, decided to cut the rear quarters when I got home, then learned a little lesson about welding them and not taking out the insulating foam.. The orange glow was pretty, but the smoke was a bit too much. :firedevil

My optima yellow top decided to give up the ghost after 5 years. Grrrrr.
Budget Batteries hooked me up with a Deka Intimidator for 150 with a 84 month warranty. It's supposed to have a little more reserve than a yellow top.
We'll see how it does.
Just out of curiosity I had schmucks check my alternator, as I thought, it was fluctuating how much amps it was charging.(I think it was OE)
So I finally got around to putting the 160 amp alt I got from The Rebuilder down here in kent.
Jeep seems happy again. lol

I have heard good things about the Deka. I had a pair of e1's in one of my rv's they were great. I could dry camp for a week off of them before a recharge. $150. Sounds kinda spendy though? I was quated $110. For a group 65 Intimidator.
