What did you do to your XJ today

It sucks wheeling legally

:fuse:

Ouch, burn... I'd assume that's in reference to the various places that I've posted about that may not be legal?

Speaking of, I eMailed the BPA in regards to land use because of the signs I've seen in the area that say that land use MAY result in violation of trespassing and "If you use it, don't abuse it!" The contact back I received is seemingly positive. I'm working out the details but it seems that all of the BPA powerline spots I've used are legal unless I'm misusing them (aka damaging, dumping, stealing and vandilzing). When all's confirmed, I'll share what I discover

Installed new (to me) limited leather in my ride, painted my shackel relocation brackets, cleaned up new coil springs... thought about installing it all, then cracked a cold beverage :rof:

What BPA may or may not tell you is that some of the Powerlines are actually Private property owners that let them use there land. In those places its legal unless the owner doesn't want you there. Kind of a grey area that I will just stay away from. It does suck that the only legal trails are TSF for most of us around here. There will be a new OHV park opening for us here in the future in the Yacolt Burn. Some of you may have seen my sweatshirt on the Noobfest run.

And whats done to the XJ...absolutely nothing other then I bought a Hi-Lift for it thats finally tall enough to actaully work. I also got a call from ARB yesterday that was good news to some degree. One of my spider gears is toast and my shims are bad, and my bearings are bad. Also new Cross Shaft Pins are needed. They said they may be able to do it for next to nothing so well see what happens.

got some 16" rubi wheels today for $200 with goodyear mtr's 2w/90% and 2w/75% Take a look fellas!!:patriot:

Swapped 3.5 RE coils and 2 inch spacers for 5.5 inch RE coils. Swapped my drop t-case cross member back to the factory one. Removed my front bumper and winch. Got my steering box bolts out (without breaking one) and got everything ready for the c-rok plates for in the morning... Still have to install the gas tank skid and t-case skid, plus the c-rok and front bumper. Then I'll be ready. Oh, wait. I have to replace the drag link rod, finish my wiring, install my rear box, the air compressor, my new center console and switches, repair the tint... SO MUCH...

Installed RE 3.5 springs, removed 1 leaf from my bastard pack to level it out, removed the inner lip on the front wheel well, installed adco rear sway bar, Painted my new JCR gas tank skid, installed new pioneer premium deck(ipod skipped...go figure), and installed Hella headlights.
Tomorrow hoping to install my Taurus fan w/ SPAL controller, steering pump brace, jks disconects, gas tank skid, harmonic balancer replaced, my jeep turbine rims mounted, diff fluid change, and replace tranny filter.
I'm telling myself I'm almost done working on it after this. haha

working on a dual diaphragm brake booster upgrade, passenger side ball joints, and cleaning the gunk out of the slip joint in a drive shaft.

Almost road ready again... The rain didnt let me accomplish a whole lot this weekend though, but i did get a few of the badges put back on, grill and light bezels got painted, fixed ignition (swapped out key cylinder), and almost finished wiring up the LEDs (just need to attach grounds).

I'll update the Mojo v2.1 thread with some pics when the sun comes back out again

Removed front QuikLok. Found nothing broken just a totally ineffectual locker. Weighing replacement options....
