What did you do to your XJ today

coveted thy neighbors wife.

I finally got off my butt and pulled the ABS pump/lines and cut the bracket out. Found a huge rats nest under the ABS pump bracket so I had fun pulling rat crap out aswell.

I've been thinking of pulling the rest of the ABS stuff out as well, just to be able to store more crap under the hood.

Yeah it takes up alot of space. So does the rats nest I could right a tutorial on my rats nest delete mod if you want.

That would be cool. My fear has been screwing up the rest of my brake system.

What year is it? I had this fear too until I had to cut the first brake line then I said XXXX it.
We'll see what happens =P

In an attempt to fix a water leak... today, I removed my factory roof rack with the intention of cleaning everything up and replaceing it all with a healthy amount of RVT. But in the process of removal I descovered that a previous owner had tried to do the same and all the torx heads were stripped. So I drilled the heads off. and to my supprise, when i removed the rails the remaining part of the bolts are almost perfectly flush with the roof. So now i'm trying to extract stainless bolts from the flimsy roof of my jeep.

By rats nest I literally meant rats nest so here it is.
Step 1: put on gloves.
Step 2: grab shit and throw it in bag.

Note: don't breathe deep.
Been there, done that! Had that problem a few years ago when I still had carpet. :sad1:

Yeah I've had seat ones before I was going to take a pic but my camera was dead. This thing was massive and made out of what I think were plant roots. Oh and crap.

I'm glad it didn't cause any rust it was holding moisture after sitting in my garage for a couple weeks.

WHOO! Thats a no joke rats nest... Holy Crud..

Did you ever drive it around and hear the little bastage in there?

So let's push this back up to the top, hmmmm?

Yesterday, I took the Jeep to Kent 4 Wheel Drive so they could dump the break-in Gear oil and inspect the new 410s and air lockers they installed a while back.

Here's some shots of the installation.

Installed the air pump next to the master Cylinder and added a Cutoff switch connected to the AirRaid Intake box (pictured show off and lighted "ON" Position.

This (gratuitous blurry) pic shows how bright blue the switches turn in the cab.

Anyhow...TODAY, I got a change to go play a little bit - learning how to use all of this. Don't let anyone fool you, they drive VERY different when locked up.

Kent 4 Wheel Drive also installed a Warn M8000 a few weeks back on my Proto Fab bumper. I finally got around to installing the flip-up, Roller Fairlead license plate bracket tonight after I hosed off some mud.

Finnished putting in a new fuel pump and filter...ahh quiet..and took the almost new 31x10.5 tires that I had on XJ stock wheels stored in carport for 2 years and put them on my Toyota dd pickup ,now it has tire hum not quiet any more.

Rolled it over to 150k last night. It had approx 56k when I got it in August '05 so I'm averaging almost 20k a year. Also took it further than 15 miles from my house for the first time since the xmas tree run back in December.

Today I found out that the Jeep can not fly,I hit one sand dune way to fast, broke an upper ball joint,TRE,bent the hell out of the sway bar end link and am now putting it all back together

Removed the Revolver shackles I had and put them in my truck for transport to portland. Also picked up a set of 89 Limited seats front and rear for 50 bucks and in good shape.
