EDIT: probably should have went into the "whats in the cd player" thread even though it isn't a cd player.

I have to admit, I was hesitant at first to get through the BS in the beginning and actually listen to the music. Especially after I saw the name. The band name sounds like some "Christian rocker types" that are too devoted to middle-earth fantasy games.

Contrary to my initial judgment from their name, those guys sound good! Nice, smooth, blusey riffs. The kinda of tunes the soul (at least my soul) craves. Kind of reminds me of Brian Kahanek.

I wasnt gonna click the link till i say you say "blusey riffs". it wasn't bad i like the blusey music but i wish i would have just listened with an different tab open cause watching the video kinda gave me motion sickness :D

Yeah, I was reading on other tabs...

on the musical note, foster the people's pumped up kicks came up on pandora this afternoon. I am really liking that song.

I had no idea who they were last year, I went to a concert in Martinsville where they were one of the acts. I actually left the infield of the track where the concert was and started taking some pictures. I came back at some point to this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WElTYQF2f80

Their musical ability blew me away. Cool thing is that now they use two amps made by a guy who goes to my church. They used two of them at the concert last year and liked them. The guy made one for the lead singer (and gave them it) and then the lead singers brother bought one.

I will also add, it isn't even just the guitar playing that I love about this band, it is the string instruments and everything together.

Sorry about that, I took the video with my phone and was holding it above my head, was hard to keep still.

yo Craig, you mixing/sound for lazerfest?

yes and no...not sure if i will be out front at the mix position at lazerfest or on stage in monitor world. most of the bands have their own engineers, but usually there are one or two bands that we have to mix. i will be working there for sure though...we start building the stage 2 or 3 days before the show. im crossing my fingers hoping that i get to meet slash. he is sort of a secret hero of mine. are you coming??? the location this year is MUCH better suited for shows than last year. im also hoping ill be out front this year to see chevelle...bands sound like ass from the side of the stage and you have to deal with a lot more egos from bands that think they are gods gift to music. last year three days grace was the band that i wanted to punch

SUM41 this morning...it was all I had in the choore truck....
