What are you doing to your rig - the continuing saga

I've got to pull the tcase and replace the seal on the back of the AW4. I also have to find the power steering fluid leak.

Anybody up north want to help an old guy with bum shoulders drop a tcase. I can have it ready, just need some help keeping it on the jack as I bring it down. I've done it more times than I can count, but the older I get the harder it is. I work from home so I can work around your hours.

Tom, did you get it handled?

Shoulda called me.. duh :)

I've called you twice in the last two weeks and you never returned my call. It wasn't about this, it was about a scanner.

Since I'm having a tough time finding wheels....I ain't doing shit.

Sounds like your norm Frank :D ....................................Waitin on some Franklins so I can get me a new and better transfercase. Tore out the old exaust and putting in new due to TC carnage on I25.

..if the car counts as the 'rig'.. which it doesn't, but anyway I am waiting for the JLT carbon fiber intake to show up. Just uploaded the pcm update to the sct tuner for it, the mass air transfer function will be completely different. Should get it up over 600 rwhp.

I should have talked to you at the M&G. I used to be in the Mustang scene back in Virginia. I know both of the guys that started SCT and JLT. I've been out of it so long now I don't know what SCT has available now, but I still keep tabs on Jay at JLT. He does great work. In fact, I had one of his earliest CAI intakes as a proto on my '00 before he was "JLT".

If you didn't know it, Jon is a certified Ford Master Mechanic. I rode in the rig before he added the SC and toys. It is a beast.

Now it officially qualifies as a rig. He had it on the trails at Indy and they actually ended up stacking rocks for it. He even drug it over some rocks.

details in my build thread. :(
